John Cassidy is the creator of the Meadows Turkey Bowl Trophy. He handcrafted the design & implementation of the honorary traveling trophy that the winning team keeps throughout the year. Each year, John carefully adds the winning team members to the bottom of the trophy giving it extra height each year.
The Kids Cassidy Cup Football Game was named after John Cassidy. The Kids Cassidy Cup is played the morning after Thanksgiving for all of the children. The kids thoroughly enjoy the morning football game served with breakfast afterwards along with an Awards Ceremony too.
